Bovertis is an innovative company, because we use the latest available technology. Combined with our retail experience and an excellent selection of business partners, we can remain an innovative company in the future. A few examples: Bovertis was the first POS company in the Netherlands with an EMV certification, we were the first with an integrated DCC vending machine and we are able to create interfaces and connections with various online services such as e-vouchers, gift cards and savings systems.

We are flexible because of the modular and object-oriented structure of the software. Resolut was developed in 2005 from the ground up without the need to consider compatibility with previous versions. We are able to develop customer-specific modules faster than other POS suppliers. If a client needs a specific module we can add the module as a plug-in without affacting the daily routine. In case of urgent changes, we can provide our customers with a new software version in no time.

Quality shines out of our products and the way we doour projects. We develop one version of our POS software for all customers, whether in The Netherlands or abroad. We believe that different versions per country or customer leads to instability and complicates the maintenance of the software. The Resolut POS software runs on airports with very high transaction volumes up to 22 hours per day and it excels in stability. All our customers are quickly familiar with our software and are extremely positive about its use.

Bovertis is founded in 2005 as an ICT-service provider for retailers at Schiphol. A POS system was designed for touchscreen POS systems with a corresponding backoffice application. In that early period, it was important that the solution would work in several shopping formulas (fashion, drinks, cigarettes, souvenirs, jewelry, perfumes). This forced us to design a dynamic data model with object-oriented functional modules. In addition to the software products, Bovertis offered its clients tailor-made software, hardware, network management and workplace management.

In 2009, we decided to focus entirely on the POS software, because that is the area in which Bovertis is truly distinctive. In that year Bovertis had built a clientele within the Netherlands, Germany, South Africa and had implementations in Belgium, Finland, Norway and Cyprus. The first major customer outside airport retail was AKO, whose affiliate branch structure meant an enormous boost to the development of the back office application Resolut BOS.

More and more functions and features are integrated in the POS system. The traditional cash register is an all in one information, sales and service point. Performance, centralized control and monitoring are becoming increasingly important. At Bovertis, we will always do the best we can to deliver the best possible products and service. We will always make use of our partner network if a situation demands it.
